BTV News Staff EAST FAIRMONT- In a memorandum to teachers abtained by BTV News, on May 14, 15, 16, Sophmores will take a feild test for next year's Stanford Replacement, the West Virginia Educational Standards Test (WESTEST). According to the memo dated April 29, all students enrolled in the tenth grade will take the WESTEST. The feild test was mandated by the State Department of Education and 51 of West Virginia's 55 counties are feilding testing this spring. The WESTEST consists of three sections, Reading, Math and Science, which are designed to be completed in ninty minutes but will not be timed. It will be given on Wednesday, May 14 during 1st and 2nd Periods; Thursday, May 15 during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Periods; and Friday, May 16 during 1st and 2nd periods.
